25 year-old Châu Đăng Khoa is making the step from songwriter to singer. Mostly known for composing sad ballads for singers like Hồ Ngọc Hà, Khoa with a little help from rapper Karik is now debuting his first MV ever for his single Craze. Spelling crazy with an "e"? That's insanity!!! That's that next level bat-shit crazy right there! Jokes aside, Craze is a song about being crazy in love. It's about being so crazy in love that you start acting out of your mind. It's a song for all those obsessive, lovestruck teenagers out there.

As an Epik High fan, I can't help be reminded of past Epik High music videos. The bathroom shot reminds me of Born Hater. The idea of obsessive love and imprisonment reminds me of Fan. The colorful color scheme and Joker makeup reminds me of Don't Hate Me. The all-around goofiness of Craze reminds me a lot of many past Epik High music videos like Wannabe and High Technology.

Wearing a long sleeve shirt and jacket while out and about in 90-degree weather. Pills are gooood! Pills are good. Let me doll you up, baby. No! Not the toilet brush!!! The torture!!! Ever heard of a courtesy flush? Why so serious? No. It's upcoming singer Băng Di. It's Karik The Creep!

Craze was a very good debut MV in my opinion. Color me impressed. Maybe it's because Craze has such an Epik High feel to it that I love it so much. I don't know. They say love makes you blind. Maybe that's true. All I know is that Châu Đăng Khoa was nowhere to be found on my Vpop radar before. But now, Craze really put Khoa on the map. Châu Đăng Khoa brings a new school sound that has been sorely absent in the Vietnamese music industry for a long time. Khoa joins a growing group of young music producers like Addy Trần who are bringing a more modern approach to music production. I hate to sound like a McDonald's commercial, but I'm lovin' it!
