At VpopFan, I try to bring the latest and greatest Vpop music videos to all you Vpop fans out there. I try to be on top of things, but I didn't realize just how time consuming it would be to cover all the latest Vpop releases. I only have enough time to write about a small selection of things every week. Therefore, I usually try to choose hot topics or popular MVs to share with you guys. There are many well-deserving MVs, however, that I think some of you guys might enjoy that I never get the chance to mention. As a result, I am going to attempt to give a quick monthly rundown of all the noteworthy MVs that were released starting from December 2015.

I'll be honest. I don't really care for slow Vietnamese ballads and that artsy shit...but the MV for The Moment by Phương Linh is kind of cool.

I really wanted to like Không Thể Quên Anh by Chung Thương. It's one of those MVs that is almost there but falls just short of being good. I'm not sure what it is, but I need a little something more. In five minutes, I will quên (forget) this MV ever existed.

I really enjoy Tiên Tiên's work. She's been tearing up the Vietnamese music scene in 2015! She had the best Vietnamese deep house song of the year with My Everything. For the official MV of Vì Tôi Còn Sống, Tiên Tiên went with the deep/future house DSmall remix version of her song instead of going with the original version, which I also like.

Em Không Như Trước by Hoàng Oanh is one of your more standard Vietnamese pop songs. Although I love hearing new and interesting sounds, I am still a person who enjoys the simpler things in life. I'm cool with an old school breakup song talking about the rain, etc. Throw in some classical string instruments like the violin? I'm down. I can dig it.

This is the first time I have ever heard of the artist HUI. I don't know who he is, but I'm liking what I'm hearing. He has an alternative style of R&B that is similar to newer R&B artists like The Weeknd for example. It's an R&B style with a lot more electronic music influence than regular R&B. Some people call it PBR&B; I just call it good music.

Sau Giờ Về is another one of those "almost good" MVs for me. Better luck next time, Phạm Hồng Phước. You're not ready for the big leagues just yet IMO.

You know in sports...when there are good players who are just stuck on the wrong team? And for reasons beyond their control, they never get a chance to truly shine. That's how I feel about Phương Trinh Jolie. I feel like she should be a bigger Vpop star by now, but she is not for whatever reason. She needs to get a better management team or something. The potential is there! With the right guidance, I believe Phương Trinh Jolie could become a household name.

Because there were so many MVs released in the month of December, I am going to need a Part 2 and Part 3 to complete this video roundup series. Stay tuned for Part 2.
