Vpop singer Hoàng Yến Chibi knew exactly what she was doing when she released Ngưng Làm Bạn. She was appealing to the young teenage audience. While some people look down on sugary teenage pop songs, I see nothing wrong them. Who doesn't like listening to a good bubblegum pop song from time to time? Anyways, Hoàng Yến Chibi has the perfect voice/look for cutesy teenage pop songs. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that she would be trying to dominate the teenage pop market.
Ngưng Làm Bạn is a song about not wanting to be friends. That's pretty obvious from the chorus. More importantly, Ngưng Làm Bạn is a song about wanting to be more than friends. After all, you can't get any action if you are in the friend zone. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem. Nobody wants to be my friend to begin with because I'm a total asshole. I go around saying mean stuff like how I think TINO looks like a more feminine version of Pink and how I think KOP looks like a sexually confused T.O.P. Yeah, I'm an asshole. Nobody wants to be my friend... :(
