Vietnamese netizens love to hate on Sơn Tùng M-TP's song Chúng Ta Không Thuộc Về Nhau for being a suppose copy of We Don't Talk Anymore. The hate is real. For this week's edition of Mix It Up Mondays, how about an actual Vietnamese cover of We Don't Talk Anymore? In this cover of We Don't Talk Anymore, Hạnh Sino and Hà Lê fill in for Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth.

Strangely enough, I see a number of Vietnamese netizens who love to hate on this cover too. I don't understand how these netizens can bash Vietnamese singers for singing in English. I happen to think the English in this cover is fine. I mean come on. English is their second language. On the other hand, white singers in the Vietnamese showbiz industry (e.g. Kyo York) are praised for their ability to speak Vietnamese when their singing is absolute garbage. White worship much? What's up with all this self-hatred and self-loathing within the Vietnamese community? Putting others down because of your own insecurities is so childish. Grow up, will ya?
