Rookie Vpop singer Cara is the latest female 9X artist from DreamS Entertainment. In recent years, DreamS has been pretty successful with the introduction of one of the biggest stars in Vpop right now. Suni Hạ Linh, who debuted under DreamS Entertainment, has made quite the splash in the little time that she has been active as a Vpop idol. DreamS now seems to be looking to double down on their position with young female Vpop singers.

In Cara's debut MV Em Đã Quên and her most recent MV Magic, you can see that DreamS is promoting Cara in a manner that is very similar to when they first introduced Suni Hạ Linh. In fact, all you have to do is change the last word in the title on Cara's debut MV from "Quên" to "Biết" to get the title of Suni's debut MV -- Em Đã Biết . Additionally, DreamS is once again using a similar musical and visual style in promoting Cara as they did with Suni. Slow pop ballads and MVs shot in European countries seem to be the go-to formula for DreamS.

DreamS basically put Cara on the same Vpop career plan as Suni Hạ Linh. But, will Cara be able to achieve the same type of mainstream success that Suni is currently having and be the next big thing? Your guess is as good as mine.

From what I have seen, I believe Cara still needs a little more time to bake. The ingredients are there. Gin Tran as the video director, Mew Amazing as the composer, and Katzilla as the music producer? That is an all-star squad if you ask me. DreamS spared no expense and went all out to get some of the best in the business. Needless to say, the production quality in the visual and audio department are both top-notch. However, I found the vocals by Cara to be somewhat underwhelming. The potential is there, but I feel Cara still needs time to fully bake and develop as a singer. Then again, I did not think Suni Hạ Linh would get this popular this fast. Who knows...Cara could launch herself into the upper echelon of Vpop artists overnight with one hit song. All it really takes is one good song.
